Regardless U need to finish 5-6 stages while unshaded FT in the past game to get yellow tach.

How do you know if someone shaded their cars in MT4 regardless of looking at "now at xx wins" at game loading screen? Is there any other way to check if someone is shaded their cars other than looking at loading screen?

And also, how does the story loop counts?
Example: I just made a legit Evo VIII with 100 wins, 100 stories.... and if I transfer it to MT4, on what loop do I start the story mode?

From what I know, if we transfer from MT3 to 3DX/3DX+, the number on the loop changes from, let's say, '2' to '200' in 3DX/3DX+.... or does it automatically compute it to a multiple of 60 per 1 loop story in MT4?

No, the machine won't appear/tell you anything. Unless you're the owner of that car/those cars.


About the Story loops counts. I'll take your example to explain.

If your e8 completed 100 stories+825HP in 3dx+, you'll start from Story 114.

If my FD completed 200 stories+825HP in 3dx+, I'll start from Story 234.

Yes, it multiplies of 60 per 1 loop story~ Depends on which chapter you stopped at~

It's costly; but it's the only way - redo 60 undefeated chapters on another loop to get the yellow tach. You're fortunate that NAMCO's merciful now to take out 40 stages just for this tacho.

I went to singapore zone-x outlet to play today after transferring all my 4 wmmt 3dx plus cars and got 4 yellow racing meters.

Take note that for my case at story 419, there is a slight sharp bend near the ending point which you need to turn left. If you are not careful and hit the wall hard, you may lose. Luckily i hit the wall a little if not there goes my meter. dry.gif

That's the most dangerous and tricky part to achieving the yellow meter. The rest of the stories are pretty easy to clear.

I started my story at 414 or 415 which i cant remember and my final story ended at 420.

So far you only encounter that part ONCE in ALL OF 3DX+ Story mode, and RARELY IN BATTLE, DUE OT NBL LINE AND BRANCH FACTORS.

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD. OH MAN!!!!

Guess i gotta get try beat those stages in gunma's TOMO DAIKI AND SEIJI and if i shade them, at least i went there 3 times, before i do it on my kpgc10, z34 and r34.....

Yeah i think if i pass it 3 times or so i should be ok....

I was careless and I was using my FD for the THIRD TIME! THIRD TIME! Coz I bought it not too long ago. 825HP with level 63 du. I almost cried that the AI keeps boosting in front of me. And I won, my heart was like... "It was a miracle" LOL

Then I was very careful with my e9 afterwards. I straightaway change to 3rd gear for safety... Then it'll be no prob~

Last section anaylsis and personal opinion.

That's not a biggy, thats one of the easier maps in 3dx+ and in wangan ta. of it.
Its just lack of map navigator made it a shock. Also its a double S from hard left in 3dx+ wangan ta... thats harder IMHO. Do it and see what i mean...

The entire stage is a section by section cornering mini game. in 5 bite sized pieces or more

Just pace your speed but not as, "IM GOING MAX REVE AND SHIFT then turn-mentality". thats when afterwards the exit, i tap the corners by over/understeer too much. and hit the places due to the line recovering after the entry on-to exit...rec.

I see the first quater is tricky so, emphesis on control and shift a bit earlier.

Remember when we all vsed HK racers or speed running in battle while damaging others in game?
And u dive and chase and end up tapping everywhere? That is this stage in storymode form.

Gunma has the idea, in his OP.
But at 12:40
Watch what he said, now what Im going to say

Do not lightly turn gently, turn mildly , not wayy to much, average is best.
Do not concentrate purely on speed, u WILL HIT upon exit even after u feel 'safe'
Gunma said speed, he nearly hit it. or did.

12:50-13.20, where the speed "TIME IT PROPERLY" , yes, what he meant is
BE AWARE THAT U HAVE NO MAP, AND PACE THE TIMEING, the corner will come in and dont lightly enter or false it out. and dont go too fast to the point u have to SHIFT UPPN ENTRY THE SECTION ON CURVE. u will be FUKED

Swerve to mitagate speed loss, so u dont go in too fast.

Now this is where u stop your rhythm , slow down,gently, turn left. mild and turn right to counter steer. NOT TOO SOON, u can just turn left and leave it. but depending how much ur tunring left, ur exiting movemetnt MAY TAP THE THING and everyone falls for this section... because they turned too much or so.

Mitagate the turnings. but dont lose too much speed. just aim for 5-20km lossage.

There.

Dude, this map is easy, i gfought battles in 3dx+ here alot, its all darn hard against 3v1 evos. u think story mode in this could stop me?

Yeah remember how u vs ppl in C1/NBL and it gets too divy- doozy and u hit the places or they try to slam u there? If u can survive those and or fullspeed past them and they get thesmevles suicide dive into the ram style into the splits.
Then u should tackle this corner ok.

Yes. what i said about letting off gass/or mitagate speed... carefully. Dont be trying to get too fast or try to brake hard, or lose too much speed, its ideal to lose 10-30 but recovering faster.

Remember, this is written in response of how i shift and when i shift.
When and how you guys shift will change what i said, so pretty much i leave the ideea and clues to u guys.

To sum it up, story 58 is basically a HUGE trap if you still think stories are as easy as 3DX+.

Recommended HP range would be 720HP, because the Wangan part does not matter as long as you don't screw up. (700 or below will be dangerous since Blackbird can be faster than you this way)

Retire if Blackbird is in front of you when you left Wangan. You can go through that corner slow, but crashing will get you shaded for sure. Remain in full attention after you cleared the corner since you might need to block Blackbird for a bit.

I 830'd my R35 SpecV and S30 unshaded this way, and the S30 run did require the blocking I mentioned. I have yet to do the final chapter since I'm not in a hurry for those fancy rewards.

Yes. Yes. Its basically -think in this mentality-

Don't go In too fast, especially revving max the nshifting up then going in.
Don't change lanes during cornering OR U WILL HIT the corners.
Shift down if ur going to hit and know it.

Don't focus too much on anything, just a moderate amount of speed, lining, and etc.
And dont take in the speed loss to safely enter and exit too seriously.

And as far as the rest. I'm confused right now.

CNR got it right on the money.
