Challenge Accepted Namco Maximum Tune 4.

Challenge accepted for me too.

There's only one downside on this tune-cutting:

Ending on Story 60, upon transfer to MT4:
> Start at stage 51
> Included soundtracks/meters: NONE.*

Ending on story 100 upon transfer to MT4 given undefeated:
> start at stage 55
> Included soundtracks: MT1, MT2, WMR, Racing/special meter (depends if from MT2 or hacked)

*Getting soundtracks in MT4:
MT3DX/MT3DX+ - complete story mode loop once (for stage 60 and stage 100 cars); earn yellow racing tachometer if undefeated
MT1/MT2 - complete story mode loop a second time; earn red racing tachometer if undefeated
WMR - complete story mode loop a third time
MT1/MT2/MT3 outrun BGM - complete story mode a third time

total # of plays to get all soundtracks:
66 plays if stage 100/complete car (for MT3 & MT outrun OST)
240 plays if stage 60 (for ALL soundtracks)

Story 40 is at end 800 max.
Save yourself 50 stories and finish 10-11?

Any ideas about the "Japan Challenge" ?

I think it's where you can challenge the top ghosts from the Japanese servers, I wonder when it would be unlocked though...

I am as curious about this. What does it mean? The best JP racers? And also how to access the king? Is it after I registered my car at BANA Passport then I am able to fight them? Today will decide my journey to fully tuned and savings of my buck. Oh god. This game driven me so far!

I feel the pain if my Fairlady Z get bumped into corners or etc.

next patch me thinks; because the way I see it... the King ranks will be worldwide; no longer store/country based. So Expect the following to be kings:

HONGKONG OR JAPANESE players. They'll seriously hog the kings I can feel it.

This gives us extra challenge worldwide too. Nobody gets the King easily or if mistake, one guy takes it and then another challenges. Repeat of the challenge and it's surely competitive I must say.

It's quite good though, if you beat all the king players in all Japan Area and get Emblem / Insignia to be attached as stickers...

If the king boost is anything like 3DX ^^, then being challenged int'l would chip the boost so fast. I say at least expect tons of FD kings.

guys is 800/DG good for chapter 60 undefeated? since i immediately got 830 at chapter 59(the one with rikako and tominaga)

Personally I would recommend 780 since you start out at C1 before branching off to new belt then wangan.

There are some who did it on 830 as well.

It really depends on how well you can control your car.

If you wish to be really safe put 760.

I cleared all 6 story mode at 740hp for my cars

not fd, fd does not have ability to do so. More likely expect cars like fb, fc, starion, s15, 180sx, to come. Recent ghosting expedition with hk players has mostly send me flying with these cars and not those mainstream.

Lol, FD... mainstream. Heh, didn't think I'd see the day.

And so glad the FC/FB/Starion are tops now. Those are my planned projects.

yes fd is part of the mainstream.
I always standby what i say that fc has better vsing capability than fd period.

Observing carefully at the hk ghost running these cars, example like fb, after clearing those corner that needs lower the gear and bigger turn, their boost off on straights after that is omfg o_O

its these underated cars that deserve top spot too we have always been saying are the most rewarding if u get them right.

Hong Kong , Japanese , Malaysia , Singapore , Indonesia stands a chance. Difficulty Level : Asian



It's going to be interesting that we get to witness who can get all those King. The most competitive one so pray some lucks that they mistake and some guys take turns in process.

Sounds Rigged, I can't even imagine me getting Kaiser Zone back and then getting Kings with it then becoming International King of Kings then people rage, steal, copy, my set up, and then pose as me.

I rather just vs other people's ghost, too much attention is a bad thing imo.

Was very happy to be first in my state to Hell Tuner's completion. Dang! Story 59 is full tuned but you go to Story 60 for the easy story ending.

You get the yellow meter if you have consecutive wins but I left it out with one loss. My mistake could have done better but I don't really care about it.

You'll get the WMMT3 series of soundtrack to choose from.
