Japan challenge is basically a player race against random player who lives in other prefecture. Each arcades' have their own unique online modem and they all show their prefecture location and name of arcade. If WMMT4 machine is hooked up to online in arcade that is located in prefecture like Tokyo-prefecture, then player's car file will be registered as "Tokyo" vehicle when they create/transfer file by using this cabinet. Mine for example, is registered as "Kanagawa-prefecture" because where I have created my WMMT4 was in Yokohama city arcade. When player decides to search and race against "Kanagawa-prefecture" players, my ghost car data will eventually pop up as one of 10 ghost opponents of choice. So, is there any benefit of playing Japan Challenge? Yes. After you defeat your opponent's ghost, you will receive dress-up points just like online ghost battle mode. BUT THERE IS MORE TO IT You will also receive unique custom dress-up parts such as; CUSTOM LICENSE PLATE FRAME (ie. neon, checkered, striped)  CUSTOM CHAMPION STICKERS  It looks like English version doesn't have this feature yet. However, I am pretty sure they will update and add the mode in the future. It would be nice if there will be such mode like WORLD CHAMPION CHALLENGE mode. |

FDU is Full Dress Up, meaning you have unlocked all dress-up parts for a car. Yes, champion stickers and other unique parts can only be unlocked by playing Japan challenge mode. |

Well, I took the photos just like I promised. Black one looks best to me.      GR-8 is the most used wheel in Japan right now. Last official tournament was won by S30(w/Aero E) and it had GR-8 on it too. |

Defeat : Your totally overrun by 100KM above which is named "Total Defeat" at the Wangan Terminal. Decisive Victory : Beaten your opponent who kept on challenging you after VSing your Ghost which proofs your better and a winner. Victory : Beating your opponent by 100KM with your Ghost imitation. I hope that clears what you think. |
