Well that's what you get for looking down on my M.C. ghost. tongue.gif

Updated Ksuke by VSing an R34 named Akiko. Smooth at s1 and s3 but derped at s2 and s4 of C1 outer. Won by 19m but I'm not satisfied due to the bad run I've made. Trying to resist using the R35 and focus on getting the red of the Skura R34. 35 more games before getting the next inspection color. Damn me if I'd need P5000 just to get that new color.

It'll at least get me to understand the difference between both builds (Skura & Tomo when I port the latter after its master is updated)

Speaking of Skura, I used my free/bonus credits while the store's newly opened for the day. Due to the fact that my mind's preoccupied (nostalgic lovelife haunting me coughminamicough), I wasn't at my best even if I think I'm giving my all.

Lost to M.C. at C1 Outer by 7m.
Lost to .ken. (ken_r34) at Hakone by 7m x4 - salutes & GG. Apologies for being too persistent.
And beat JPT26 (Antares) at Hakone by 25m

Not sure if I'm just distracted, I can't do the inbound well, or attack points were in the wrong places...

29 games remain before unlocking next custom color (and I PRAY IT'S RED NEXT. IF NOT, I'M FLIPPING TABLES!) - the hard part of maining one car... is if you're not in game at all and you struggle after 1-2 rounds.

Deal with it. I have (damn AmY<3 Corvette... :tldr:)

I found your E9 lacking in boost though... it only caught up at the hairpin at s4 then derped.

Coz i crashed everywhere. And i ran all the way instead of staying put and let ghostly dam boost help my lines get GAR mode.

Jokes aside, really i crashed everywhere and wasn't used to the systme physics.

(lol k)

Iono, something tells me that if i do ghost mode, my behaviour a.i is boosted made stronger if i just slow down, and crash or not, pace my lines perfectly and let the noobs challenge the OP GHOST LINE BOOST BEHAVIOUR BACKED UP BY SAFER LINES WHICH CAN BLOCK?

COULD IT BE I FIGURE OUT THE BOOST THEORY?

NAH IM HIGH

further DU the Legacy today... now at 51 ghost wins... biggrin.gif

DU level is lv 32.

when i was dressing up my car, someone invited me for a challenge. I politely decline since my Legacy is only 800hp max. Then he continue to bug me by asking silly questions like "see this sticker (lvl 7x, the one with blossom flowers and weird decals on), does it looks nice?". Gave him a cold shoulder reply.

Then funny part is he go and challenge my Legacy ghost using his FT RX8. Won my Legacy ghost at NBL with a 28m advantage and start to make some snobby face. Then when he saw his dress up bar only "grow" by an inch, his facial expression is like OMFGWTFWHYSOSHORT?

Kenji, you could've rematched his ghost; beat it by a longshot and see him try and fail to rematch it. Happened to me; he spent his last games trying to take out my Yokohane ghost - failed in all attempts despite the snobby stink eye he gave me earlier.

done that when he was fishing noobs at MT3DX+. Beat his ghost at the same map by a whooping 7x meters despite I have 2 less handling bars.

M.C.'s ghost may look misleading at the first half and you may deduce that before the Hamazakibashi branching she's intentionally letting it off easy but as soon as she passes Hamazakibashi JCT into Tokyo Tower, sh*t gets real; especially at the exit of Kasumigaseki where the goal is. No wonder a lot of people lose to it; myself included (twice).

Sorry to burst your bubble buddy but a lot of people also beat your ghost while having a crappy crapsack run themselves...

I challenged your M.C. ghost recently; I haven't played in a while and my resulting run wasn't that good nor smooth. it was full of bumps and I still managed to beat it with a distance between 5-7m. Of course it doesn't count as a win by your standards - the deal was to beat M.C. by at least 15m in C1OB right? But I'm sure you get my drift that if we were able to beat your ghost on a bad day, I don't see any reason why we won't be able to beat M.C. individually by 15m or more on a good day...

Just saying...

Oh, and may I add that ken_r34 was present was witness to it just so you know?

That was the old run before I updated it by accident (trying to clean up by beating the R35 before I realized what I've done)

Actually it was 6m when I last checked with your SWIPE FD3S.
And conditions changed, 7m is the requirement.
Yours is the highest so far before I updated it, and still is if I may add.

ken_r34 just tried it a few hours ago and it was a 2m victory for him. I applaud him for that since KENZZ was the only one who nearly beat the updated run, and won by 0m.

When I raced my own ghost that's what I felt; past the Ginza region, it jumped to 60m then I derped and hit the midpoint of the S-curves before the 2nd divider. Results would've ended the same regardless of the bump though.

The trap was at Kasumigaseki where the unholy boost kicks in and where the ghost closes in.

I lost to it myself before ken_r34 managed to clear it when I checked the standards.

Fair enough then. I'll try it out when I have a quick time-out from work. I'm sure a rusty old veteran like me won't be disappointed smile.gif

P.S. My salutes and respects of a GG to sir ken_R34. Although not his finest ghost run in Hakone inbound but his section 4 is flawless (past the s3 chicane area).

on my way home today
i had some time to reflect on how this forum changed me
i met a few people thanks to this forum
and i learned a lot
I was taught that you should play every game like it's your last, give it your all. Master June
I was taught that no matter how bad your run is, just keep fighting till the end. Master N•Mac and Master Jekat
I was taught that the silent ones are always one of the fastest. Master Iku
I was taught that you should respect other players no matter what they did to you. Everyone in this community
i'm really glad that i'm slowly progressing to becoming a better player
it's kinda sad though that i just realized this now
thanks to everyone that i met in this forum.

Gunma, (as you might have said) I'd figured that you took advantage of the unholy boost by letting off in the earlier part of the course then letting it all out on the last 3 or so kilometers. The right-hander before the finish line catches me off-guard (as I was focused on the win condition rather than winning for the DU parts). Nevertheless, like Master RB said, we all have our bad days.

^It's something like the mechanics of boost in this game, seems that it can be easily used now to win challenges from others.
