Any idea on how to actually change the featured car, haven't been on another team before but I assume you manage it at the Wangan Terminal?

Yup...it is at the Wangan Terminal alright

You can change your featured car thru Wangan terminal, upon logging in your WMEforum banapass and press the team icon and there are the options for the team

I had an amazing time yesterday at the arcade, got through the first 21 stages of story (undefeated) and got 9 stars from races! I was able to get two Banapassports and now know where to find them here. The kid Jim I ran into was extremely helpful and he even gave me a discard card to use. We talked and played for hours than when he left, none other than ZYNE, the guy Ive been corresponding with from SOAR showed up. We talked and raced and got along great. Today is actually a korean national holiday here and there is going to be a korean wangan players meet up. I so wish I could go but my wife is off work so we are spending the day together. But we got each others contact info and will be meeting up to race a few times a month. Over all a fun, productive day. Im not doing many ghost battles for now since my main concern is to full tune my car but I think by next month Ill be done with that and will move onto purely ghost battles.

I'd like to suggest this though:

Just tune your car up to 815HP max (play Story mode till chapter 55 only)...that way your car will remain at ghost level 8...then fight level 9 and 10 (Super hard) ghosts in normal mode and Japan Challenge to get constant 1.5x...and speed up in FDU-ing your car (I think you pretty much might know this technique...since it works the same way as 3DX+...the great part is that in WMMT4 excess filling of the DU bar will be carried over...unlike 3DX+ where it stops once it's fully filled even though you've fought a higher level opponent whereby you're entitled to more)

An 815HP max car is as good as a FT car...plus all the more with the presence of CPU ghosts in WMMT4 (also just like in 3DX+) will make things easier for you in Ghost mode...and customizing your car

Then again the Ghost mode in MT3 is much close enough isn't it

Btw he should have indeed picked the STI...heck even his avatar is a picture of an STI...he should have honored it lol

I knew I would get shit from this haha. I thought long and hard about it but as much as I love subies, I just really wanted to try something new for a change. Ive been using the GDB almost exclusively since maybe 2007. Ive looked through the aero sets for a long time and I have this awesome vision in my mind on how I want the EVO to look. Of course I will have one in my collection, but that will be after I full tune the EVO 9. And actually that guy Jim did give me a discard card but I had no clue what I was doing with it so I selected his car the corvette because I thought I had to for some reason lol. When I see ZYNE again I'll ask him for one, the guy has literally 10 banapassports with every car in the game full tuned many times over.

This is great info because I was going to ask you guys what the heck the japan challenge was, I was so confused without outrun lol.

lol dont worrry about it ppl will help u out, i have almost every car in game in china (i have around 44 cars in totally iirc)

Whats the best way to do the japan challenge?

there are ways on ensuring a higher chance on winning on every run on JC:

- try to attack on your best/favorite area/course
- note your opponents course and HP setup, for example car XXXXX is in wangan and 740hp the chances are at default/average HP setup
- not all 740hp cars are default unless hi-speed courses like wangan, yokohane and yokohama
- stick to that level of opponents and anything lower will need twice to conquer
- if you don't like the opponent at that target area? brake/cancel and do it again on that area till you get your desired course (you will have lots of time to get the course you want)

it might depend on different cabinets, i'm kinda sure the loop featured teams lasts at least the whole day at the longest on 5 featured teams on a WMMT4 set (4 cabinets and a terminal) when after few WMMT4 Opening movies

Whats the deal with the arcade challenge? Should I partake next time I hit the arcade? Does competing help the team at all?

it's part of the update that came out, but it hasn't been ... activated?

How do you collect those stickers??

Battle ghosts in normal mode (i.e. the Select by Level...Get Revenge...and Search by Name options)

Winning Japan Challenge ghosts WILL NOT give the ghost's team sticker to the team

do you get a sticker for every ghost battle you win?

I don't know, i only fight those ghosts that have a team name, i avoid revenges - since i have their sticker and look for easy ghosts!

I see that we already have 27 "Wangan" anyway.
