There was only 1 golfland that had it during location test not all.

there are only 2 test locations, R1 and golfland so beside the R1 golfland is your best bet, theirs good chance R1 GL will have it over anything else.

well R1 officially announced they will have it on every single location in the US by mid feb. I just hope its not 8 cr. per game like Mario cart.

I'm just hoping Dave and busters gets it. I've actually spoken to the owner of the burbank arcade and he said he is willing to get it if there is enough interest. Which I understand stand since it is an expensive set.

good thing they follow almost the same specs of the WMMT4 cabs in INT

the WMMT5 version we have or as I called it "El cheapo" cabs have no covers on the lower side of the cabinets only aluminum frames... which if you're that unlucky that your bags can be stolen if the cabs were placed openly

just a little bit more elbow grease there I believe.... until then just holler your experience playing and we could give ya tips from our experience in INT side

Those economy cabs don't sound good.

honestly it doesn't look good visually especially at night time so does the sound too... then again I don't bother much on the speakers side... it says 4.1ch audio (2 in the screen area and 2 on the seat area)

when you get to see yours better check the lower left most area if was done solidly covered near the pedal area.... the "El cheapo" ones we have the left most area near the pedal is exposed and only one aluminum bar holds along the rear board and the Terminal area is just the angled tabletop style not like the original WMMT4 style and NA ver. Terminal

Any other faults of the "el cheapo" cabs? Saw something about screen issues on the Mt. Taikan board.

Visually hideous... that means the "Contrast" Setting is that bad... try playing Hakone and Takian at Night time unlike in WMMT3 to 3DX+ wherein you can still see the tracks

the "El Cheapo" version is like you're driving in the dark... what more in selected tracks has the Darkest Shadow that you can't see the edges, unlike the WMMT4/Premium Cabs that you can still see the dark areas

Soundwise... pretty good if you don't care much unless Audio Nazi's standards

Buildwise? the only covered area near the Pedal Area was the Coin Slot and Switch area on the rightmost area

Buildwise but on durability? I'm <Bleep!>ing sure they're more flimsy than the WMMT4 cabs on my area which they're here for 3 years unlike that after a year or so getting much abuse as the WMMT4 version ones

That screen issue doesn't sound great.
Well, I sure am glad we're getting the cabinets that we are going to get and not the cheap ones like you mention.

Do you know if other countries have the "el cheapo" cabs besides Philippines?

As long they got new cabinet set when WMMT5 came out if I ever follow the trend here in PHL... that means asian countries who are connected to INT server will get those "El Cheapo" cabs when WMMT5 started

the Premium cabs were introduced in WMMT4 if they ordered during that time they will get these

I'm pretty sure that they're introducing those versions now to catch up the demand =/

there was some at a small arcade here. i noticed what had been mentioned, especially the brightness (we played taikan night) its really weird ... pretty hard to see i dunno if its just rubbish screen or something.

other than that, not a big difference gameplay wise.
