It'll be fun seeing people tune their cars once the game drops at all the locations. That's for sure.

Sad but good in a way. Means everyone has to start from scratch again which normally translates into lots of people manning machines and story grinding= more chances to catch up and meet up.

But but but my S class renames with lots of stars

I need those to live in mt

Ya Hawaii hasn't really been "behind" in Max Tune releases, for what we could get anyway.
We have had 3DX and 3DX+ within a few weeks of them being released overseas in English.

New Banapass design. The designs themselves are good, but the americanized logo ruins it. Thank god I have my other pass.

It's one of the ones from the testing period. I was able to get it for free. I have a NAC sticker on it.

Grr damn D&B not getting machines... 3 hours drive it is. Thankfully Exeton is near Philadelphia so I'll just tag along if my aunt goes there.

Don't jump to conclusions yet. They could get it in. Plus, it would be a foolish business decision for them to not get the game in.

I don't think any of the dnb locations are getting it. Corporate has been very clear that they aren't interested.

Really amazes me how they haven't said anything for this long. At least give some sort of acknowledgement or something.

It is strange that they haven't said anything, however I'd still be inclined to believe that Dnb may get it.
This forum has been awfully quiet though. lol

Yeah I guess there's nothing else really to say at this point. I'm sure we've all been anxiously waiting for the cabs to arrive at our R1's. I'm really praying for this coming week though.

Yeah. Then again, they didn't say much before they got DDR A.

Yeah. Unfortunately, with not much information coming out as of late, all we can do is wait.

I meant the website as a whole. Even the international guys were quiet.
What you said was still true. Waiting for something grand to come near us.

Dnb has been doing just fine without most of the other games at r1. Not getting wangan wouldn't kill them as a company if we're being honest.

Ya know what, I don't really care if my local DnB doesn't get it. My aunt goes to Philly alot, so I'll just tag along and have her drop me off in Exton.

And besides there are alot more asian dudes there. Bigger crowd.

U guys must know that we are all mt players which is why we are all bias

In a business point of u, u have to remember that mt5 is not cheap and also u have to pay for online running fees and maintenance fee every month (which is a standard for mt)

Making money is the key, but sadly alot of arcades closed due to losing money

I always thought DNB wouldn't get it. Expensive machines with a bunch of drunk of people who will play anything there. The likely scenario I see is someone jumps on once and then leaves to play something else. These people won't care about tuning and all the stuff.

Return investment can be huge. See this conversation I had with a friend: http://imgur.com/a/FsVDI

That's kind of shitty thinking to be honest. Assuming they wouldn't get it in. Then why did they test it in the first place? They wouldn't have tested it if they weren't interested. Plus, don't assume that about single serving players. I say this as someone who was previously one of these people (Mainly because A. The game was hard to find. B. When I could, cards wouldn't work at times). Not to mention, Namco did some stuff to try to get these types of people hooked on the game. It really isn't. American arcade culture is nothing like back in Asia. Why would they spend alot more on arcades when home consoles/PC are much cheaper?

Of course I don't follow that, but most gamers do. Arcades are seen as a place for a collective group to have fun in, and while certainly WMMT can deliver, it requires a lot of investment for it to really be fun, which most people don't have the time for.

I beg to differ. Plus, with games like DDR A getting released to Dave & Busters and more Round 1's opening stateside, the tides are turning for this sort of thing.

I'm thinking from the point of average person who would be at DNB. I agree it is a shitty way of thinking, but i feel like when looking at the perspective of gaming, people who frequent places like DNB, are there for reasons other than games. You look at a place like round1, people are there for certain games, like the crowds that come for all the bemani games or DDR. Outside of a redemption game or shooting hoops, never really seen someone pump multiple credits into a game.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they lost interest during the test period. BTW, I do hope they eventually get it.
