Does anyone know if there is a max ghost win level? I have heard there is a custom title for level 200 so that means it definitely does up there but is there 201? And if so, does anyone know if there is a cap to it?

And for some of the later levels, whats the number of level 10 wins required to gain each level? For example, level 50 requires 4 wins, but what about the later levels...does anyone have a chart?

defeating someone on a higher level than you gains 1.5x the normal experience points.

So, when you have 300 ghost wins, you make it into the level 10 ghost area, and you only gain the normal experience, as you're not beating a higher level.

So, it normally takes 4 wins, which gives you 6x the normal experience, so, considering that the 4th win on a higher level ghost gives you more than the exp required, i'd say you need about 5 wins per level.

So in other words, once you are a level ten ghost, revenge would give you more exp than a level ten ghost would right? (revenge is always 1.5x exp?)

And is crown 1x exp or 1.5exp?

yes, revenge will give 1.5x the exp.

crowns give you the exp based on the level of the player. if the crown is held by a level 8 player, and you are level 9, you get less.

same level, same exp, level 10 crown ghost... well, you get the idea

You'll get 1.5x too, given that if you're the previous crown holder...

What I mean is, you are the Wangan crown holder, then someone named XXXXX came and took over your Wangan crown. If you challenged the XXXXX's Wangan ghost and manage to wrestled the crown back from XXXXX, you'll get 1.5x the points too...

well..isnt that to reach lv10 ghost is not by defeating 300 ghosts? but our ghost will have to win 300 times in a succession?

Just defeat 300 ghosts..doesn't matter computer or human ghosts or what level...as long as you have 300 ghost wins, your ghost will be a Lv10 ghost.

How many wins your ghost has in the arcade is irrelevant.

300 successive wins is technically impossible to do... since you have to renew your card after 60 wins..=P

who told you that anyway?

its been said over and over again, 300 wins.

Time = distance\velocity

Less time would mean either higher velocity or less distance
To achieve the best time, one would strieve for maximum velocity over the less distance.

k.

so

The shortest distance between two places is a straight line.
So among any variations, it is best to try and keep the straightest line.

On a curve the shortest distance is around the inside.
To test this for yourself, get a piece of string and draw yourself a curve on a piece of paper. It should look like a "u" inside a bigger "U"
Follow the string around the curve on the outside and then stretch it out and measure how long it is. Then follow it along the inside and measure how long it is.

The inside curve would be a shorter distance.

So why not just go inside throughout the entire course? because of our other variable, velocity.
With corners that you cannot full gas, you will need to slow down.
To achieve maximum velocity over the less distance, the best method is to approach from the outside, slow down and move in, then gas it (pushing the car outside again)

Red line is the most efficient "racing line" to follow, better exit speed (less deceleration) and shorter distance.

EDIT: much indepth article CLICK HERE, Wikipedia "Racing Line"

Hey guys..

How do u know how many ghosts u've defeated??

I wanna become a lvl 10 ghost so bad!!

And what governs your place in the lvl 10 area? Like, Taro is pretty high up, but is there a way that you can take his place and push that guy down, i hate taro, so easy....

Ok.

You go to the rankup thread and don't read and ask a question.

Then you come here and don't read the rankup thread and ask a question that I myself answered in that rankup thread.

I explain where ghost vs wins are shown here http://wmexpressway.net/index.php?showtopic=27574&st=150 like two pages behind where you posted in the rankup thread.

Seriously dude, read.

I even answer your other question in that same thread....
