How do you change the color of your car?

after the card runs out, enter the card and select save data to continue the game, after this that, the new colors appear on each car

In MT4. If my card is 825HP what HP will I go back and how many stories do I need to finish? How about if my card 820HP what HP will I go back and also how many stories do I need to finish? Does the 10 level outrun will also be gone? Because there are many changes in MT4.

That was answered on the first page of the MT4 faqs thread.

1) when playing a new car in 3DX+, will it be the same goal like MT3 when getting the OST and special Tach 80 chapters unshaded?
2) is it possible to use a disused card from MT3 to 3DX+?

Answering questions in order.

1 - honestly can't remember not really important anyway since you're on DX+.
2 - none that I remember except if you had a celsior you could keep gatchan purple color which wasn't available to pick as stock color in MT2.
3 - I can't answer that but from what I remember once you lose you get shaded idk about when you transfer the card though from version to version.

7 - the one "card" you make will stay that car model forever, only way to change cars is make a new one.
8 - it would be impossible (legit anyway) to get the "namco tacho meter" (from transferring mt2 > mt3) for cars that exist on MT3/DX/DX+ since they can't be transferred from mt2. However there are hackers in China which do offer it, of course hacked. You can get the DX Special Meter which is available when you beat story mode without losing 100 chapters.
9 - answered, only way to change name from version to version is if you have a banned name.

I don't think this answer is correct, I haven't lost in awhile doing story so I don't remember if you get WM-R upon 100 story even if you lose once.
10 - you can get them by completing story mode in DX+ as well, I don't remember but I believe to get both soundtracks you had to be unshaded (never lost) in 100 story chapters. If you lose but complete 100 stories you get I think only MT2 soundtrack, you do not get WM-R soundtrack.

11 - you can change the songs after you complete 100 chapters, you are free to change soundtracks in the menus when looking at card stats (before you pick story / ghost etc).

What should you do if you want to get a blue aura? What about a purple one?
I have heard that for blue you need to hit walls, and for purple you need to hit cars. Is this true?

what you heard is right.

pretty sure its

green - hit nothing
blue - hit walls
purple - hit traffic
red - hit traffic & other player's cars

Purple is hitting player cars.

From what I have experimented with and from some trusted sources:

Green = Hit nothing

Blue = Hit Traffic and Walls but NOT player cars

Purple = Contact with player cars but no/few hits on wall or traffic

Red = Hit everything

2 - I think Gatchan Purple would be Purple Metallic as described in here or here? If so that would be a reward for that transfer only (1->2) and you can get the colors in MT3 series by renewing cards.

3 - For MT3, 3dx, 3dx+, if you get shaded you can get unshaded when renewing the card. There's that rumor about losing 2 times and getting shaded 4ever in this forum. That turned to be false for the MT3 series. Although I can't find any information about that for MT2, besides the "shaded card gets unshaded when renewing" rule.

10 - You can also get them by transferring an unshaded MT2 card to MT3 only. That means completing 80 episodes without losing for both MT1&2 and Wangan R soundtracks. You only get MT1&2 if you lost once.

I've never heard of this. I don't think it's on any version.

your card remains unshaded when renewing, but that's if your card is still unshaded.

if shaded, then the card will remain shaded until a story loop is complete.

Then maybe I misread it, but if so, what does the third point in DamiaN469's post mean?

Shaded cards stay shaded after renewal. Only thing you get for renewing is the new color and the present card.

If you lose to someone in vs mode, does the number of stars you have decline, or does it stay the same?

You lose 1 star for losing only if you have 2000 or more.
If you have less than 2000 then you don't lose any.
