MY Gc8 doesnt have THAT good of handling does it...i think its cuz i know a little on its drive style...

Maybe ill just get an E9 discard and use the official machine for testing?

Then do it up at box hill early on tuesday...

Does anyone have an E8 discard? Dan?

Also - speed wise, i assume the acell of the E8 and E9 beats the GC8?

the e8 is the fasta car. n it has similar handling to the e9. So it is actually a really good car overall. On top of that, it is a 4WD. The e8 is also classified as the "noob" car. Cos of all these positive traits.

I guess when a car has all positive traits, its labeled as a noob car..which is said about GTRS, WRX's and Evos alike..

Although, is the E8 faster because of its straight line speed, or faster overall with factoring handling in?

Although, the GC8 and E3 are sorta in the shadow of their elder brothers...which IMO is a great thing lol

yea mate i got plenty of disused E8. If you want u can compare my fully tuned E8 and E9
will give u a better idea.

@fkn - lol not really.... but yer it is kinda. Just for this game. But the e8 is main noob car. The r32 is next then I think it is one of the gdb's, then it is the r34 and e9 and the other gdb. That is the list, i heard of. Funny enough I got the r32, r34, e8 AND e9. I like nissan and mitsubishi cars. Hate subarus, ugly mofos.

I've told you this before,

Evo 9 has better accel than Evo8
Evo8 has more grip than Evo9

Seriously, if someone wants to make a CT Evolution, I'll suggest the 9 since the car is a wee bit more challenging to drive than the Evo8.

LOL Kenji! This is getting hell confusing. I remember somebody else sayin the e8 is fasta and e9 got grip. It was on the Mitsubishi thread. Either way, the e8 is the best out of the 2, as it is the "noob" car.

i dun make up things. I only say things that I have read somewhere else on this thread. Some people call it the noob car, cos jerks have it. jerk = people who are noob and has the advantage of a e8 to look good, because it is that easy to drive.

So if you see pro players use it, they look like they are sooo good, that is why noob people have it.

Well, E8 is indeed a car that is fast, and easy to use..

So that many noobs are going for E8 as they know that they could own ppl with E8, coz the E8 is good.. and most of the pros, are using E8.. @_@

Every PRO that I saw in GSTZ (excluding roxas3), has an E8..
sway has one..
TiramisuK has one..
Antharas has one..

And there are HEAPS of noobs that has E8 as well.. (mostly 99999 dupe, including mine.. coz I put myself on the "noob" category..)

lol u dun want to know the name of my e8. I got one recently, but isnt starting it till i finish my GTO. Which I brought to 800HP awhile ago, it was my first car. I abandoned it and moved onto a supra, s30 and z33. Now im back to finish it. Then its my turn to see wat the craze of the e8 is all about.

Because when n00bs can use it, appear to be fast but fails when using anything else, well hell yeah its a n00b car. It doesn't do much to teach n00bs how to play MT3 because it does everything for them, almost like training wheels.

And top players use it because of all its positive traits and lack of any known weakness, other than its top speed, which it has no use for anyhow.

I agree that E8 Provides better stablity. However, E9 indeed has better Accel. i have both E9 and E8 hence i'm slightly able to feel their difference.
True that they are "noob" cars, you do not need any much "handling/ skills" to use them. However, being a "noob" car, they provide all the advantages that a "pro" search for. The main issue would be the user, if the user is a "pro" or "noob".

Yeah, E9 accels so fast I missed 1st gear on Hakone durring a TA, lol, it revs faster than my S15 so I was like "WTF!".

And commenting the last part of your post, thats what I was getting at. Its so hard to get other cars, especially lower tiers, to do the same thing or move in the same fashion as the Evo 8 and 9 can. Its really irritating when your behind one because your sitting there praying that he/she might screw up so you can pass since it will take the turns much faster and easier than whatever you drive. Its just these two cars I have a problem with really, any other top tier cars seems easy to battle against IMO.

lol that is sooo true spike. U just hope they screw up. Especially true for vsin kings of the tracks at my arcade. Most of them are e8s. It is funny.

Does any1 have a good E8 build for TA, the pros and cons would be appreciated as well .

Depends what ur driving style is like. If you want your evo to slide then smack some Te-37's on it. If you want it to grip put on some Enkei Forged Ltd.

I like it abit slidey. But i know this slidey will b different to slidey of a FR car, which I mainly drive.

Hmm. well i've noticed that a lot of TA racers with E8s use aeroA and a 2D wing. How does that help with TA? and if my E8 has aeroC with 3D wing, in general will it be a bit slower on TA?

im guessing Aero C is more for grip than anything else, and it would weigh you down a little, and so would the 3D wing.

Aero A (again im only just guessing) gives you better acceleration and that balances out with the 2D wing which is itself giving you downforce and its not like you need that much grip because it IS an evo8.
