QUOTE (raven111 @ 2 hours ago) | Technically true, Dare - especially not if you're challenging your car's own ghost <Z33/raven :looks in mirror:>. However, challenging your own ghost cars (which is very different - like RX-8/ninja vs. Z33/raven) would net you a quick 'revenge'. That way you don't have to wait around for a revenge that may take awhile (or forever) to be returned. |
Couldn't you have just said that? Bare in mind that if you keep beating yourself, you might actually get to a point where you can't and end up having to do yourself a shitty run just to beat yourself. Plus, it's stupid as well since you're wearing out the card machine by keep putting in different cards many times in a short amount of time.

Far as I'm concerned, I did say that; of course, this being a forum w/ how many members, certain things can be open to interpretation. I meant that as a general suggestion, but it could be applied for anyone w/ little patience (on waiting for a revenge) and an extra card. Generally, I only do this when dressing up cars that have a lower level than the one I'm searching up - like my Lv9 RX8 (incomplete) against my Lv10 Z33.
As for being unable to beat yourself, note that I do more than one course - and my strengths vary between each. -------- BTW, I never said I replaced the card every single play in a repetitive process, as THAT gets very boring very fast. The process I use is: Pick one car, hit one of my other ones up; pick one card next time I play, take any revenges on that one out; repeat process.

qft.. beating yourself just to get revenges is just fail... especially since most people would have only ONE car that needs doing up.. you're wasting 2x the money to get 1.5x the dressup points on one car
instead of revenging your own car you might as well use that money you spent beating your own car beating someone else, so you get 1x + 1x = 2x rather than 1.5x.
same amount of coins too..
and the fact that when u beat more people they'll try to revenge you, and the few who do manage to win will be revenged later.

QUOTE (raven111 @ 1 minute ago) | I see your point, Dare; however, that process was as of MT3 - not DX. |
In the case of just MT3, just vs Level 10 ghosts.

quoted for even MORE truth.
why bother in MT3 when you can just challenge mix
=/
only time you need to bother trying to exploit revenges is DX.

QUOTE (frysee @ 1 minute ago) | hey guys ive got a question...is it true that in dx you need five ghost wins to change a part where in in mt3 you only need 4? |
It's basically the equivilent of racing just Level 9 ghosts from MT3 instead of DX. In DX, they aren't any level 10 ghosts and you only get 1.5 points if you beat crowns or revenge your ghost. Otherwise, it'll take about 6 I think

It would be wise to finish ghosting in MT3 first THEN transfer to DX.

QUOTE (hkazne @ 2 minutes ago) | i keep getting this feeling that the R35 will be a hidden car haha.. doubt it thou ~ . ~ |
The R35 would be dangerously imbalanced in MT. It already is almost like a supercar. Really f**king fast and probably really good handling. Everyone would use it.
